Why isn't Google Calendar syncing with Octiv?
Enabling calendar permissions for Octiv on iOS and Android
Resolution — iOS 1. Open the device Settings app. 2. Scroll down and tap on the Octiv app. 3. Tap Permissions . 4. Ensure "Allow Octiv App to access the calendar" is enabled (toggled on). Resolution — Android 1. Open the device Settings app. 2. Navigate to Apps & Notifications . 3. Tap Permissions , then Calendar . 4. Find Octiv in the list and ensure it is set to Allow . ⚠ Android steps may vary depending on the device brand and model. If calendar permissions are already enabled and the issue persists, toggle the permission off, wait 10 seconds, and toggle it back on. Still Not Syncing After Enabling Permissions If permissions are enabled and classes still don't appear in Google Calendar, the issue is likely on the device side rather than the Octiv app. Advise the member to: 1. Delete and reinstall the Octiv app (forces a fresh permission handshake). 2. Open the app and navigate to a booked class and tap the calendar sync option. 3. Check the Google Calendar app directly — the event may be there but under a different calendar category.
