What is Smart Reports, and how do I use it?
AI-generated reports built from your gym’s own data — currently in Beta
Smart Reports uses AI to build the exact report you ask for, using your gym’s own data. Instead of choosing only from Octiv’s standard report types, you describe the report you want in plain language and Smart Reports puts it together for you.
We built this because many gyms need reports beyond Octiv’s standard set.

How it works
Smart Reports has two tabs:
- Ask — type your question in plain language and Smart Reports automatically picks the right data and generates a report.
- History — every past conversation, with the date it was generated and how many reports (exports) came from it. Click the eye icon on a row to reopen that conversation.
Click New Conversation to start a fresh chat at any time.
Downloading a report
Once Smart Reports has generated your report, it’s downloadable as a PDF from the Exports panel.
Smart Reports is in Beta
Note: Smart Reports is still in a phase of testing and improvement, with no set end date yet for the Beta or for how long you’ll have access to it. If it says it doesn’t have access to a data point you asked for, Octiv is notified automatically and that item is added to our backlog.
Data & accuracy
Smart Reports uses your real gym data, and safeguards are in place to prevent hallucination — but it remains an AI system, so double-check important figures before acting on them.
Who has access
Owners, Location Admins, and Admins with access to Reports can use Smart Reports.
