How do I set up a free or promotional package?

Give free sessions with a zero-price package - no payment, no invoice.

A free package gives a member free sessions with no payment and no invoice — useful for a promotion, a trial, or a complimentary offer for someone who isn't on a paid membership.

Create the free package

  1. Go to Settings >> Packages >> Create New.
  2. Give it a clear name (e.g. "Valentine's Special – Free Session").
  3. Set the price to 0 and the number of sessions (e.g. 1).
  4. Turn Display on App and Display on Widget OFF so members can't self-purchase it.
  5. Assign the package manually to each qualifying member (or non-member) from their profile.

The member can then use the free sessions to book, at no charge and with no invoice raised.

⚠ Every Octiv profile needs a unique email address — non-members can't share one, so ask for a personal email when setting up profiles for an event.
