How do I add and manage Store products?

Store > Products

The Products list shows every product with its Category, SKU, Cost, Retail, VAT and Stock. Filter by Location or Product Category, search by name, and switch between Active and Deactivated products. If Enable POS in App is turned on for the location (Settings > Store), the list also shows a Visible in app column — click the eye icon on any row to mark that product visible or not visible in the member App, without opening it.

Adding a product

Click Create New and complete the form:

• Which locations sell this product? — tick each location that stocks it.
• Name, SKU, Cost Price, Retail Price, VAT Percentage — the product’s details and pricing.
• Stock Type — choose Unlimited Stock (never runs out) or Limited Stock (Octiv tracks the quantity and reduces it as you sell).
• Product Category — select an existing category, or choose Create New Category to add one.
• Description — an optional description.
• Product Image — click to upload or drag a file in (max 4mb, PNG recommended), then Upload.
• Visible in App — turn this on to make the product available to buy in the member App (Buy > Store). Only members can buy in the App — not leads. You can also toggle this directly from the Products list — see above.

Click Submit to save. The product then appears in the list and is available at the Point of Sale.

Editing, deactivating or reactivating

Use a product’s Actions menu to edit it — this opens the same form, including the Visible in App toggle. To take a product off sale without deleting it, deactivate it — it moves to the Deactivated list and can be reactivated the same way.
