How does member-to-coach messaging work in the Octiv app?

Member Messaging a Coach 1. Open the Octiv app and navigate to your booked class. 2. Tap the conversation icon on the right side of the class entry. 3. Type and send your message to the coach. ⚠ If the coach name is set to hidden in the facility settings, the messaging option will not be available. The setting is: Settings >> Classes >> Should the coach name be displayed? — if set to No, messaging is unavailable. Coach Sending a Push Notification to All Class Participants 1. Navigate to the class in the schedule. 2. Select Message Bookings . 3. Type your message — it will be sent as a push notification to all booked members. Octiv Does Not Have General In-App Messaging Octiv does not have a general chat or messaging inbox — the conversation feature is class-specific. For broader member communications, use the Communications section to send emails or push notifications, or use your facility's preferred external channel (WhatsApp, email, etc.).
