How do I change my facility's theme, brand colours and language?
Choose the web app theme, your brand colours for light and dark mode, and your language preference
Go to Settings >> Facility & Location and open the Facility Settings tab. Make your changes and click Submit at the bottom.
Web Application Theme
Choose Dark Theme or Light Theme. This only changes the Octiv web app. The member app follows each member's phone setting.
Brand Colors
Because the member app follows each phone's light or dark setting, add your colours for both themes:
- Dark Theme: Primary Color and Dark Theme: Button Text Color
- Light Theme: Primary Color and Light Theme: Button Text Color
For the dark theme, a slightly brighter version of your brand colour usually works best.
Language Preference
Under Language, choose your Language Preference. This changes the language of the Octiv web app only.
Your automated emails stay in English. To send them in another language, edit each one: go to Settings >> Comms, open View/Edit next to the notification, rewrite the Subject and Content in your language (keep the placeholders), and click Submit. See How do I disable or edit my Notifications?
