How Can I Manually Book Members In?
Members can be manually added to your classes or sessions
Left hand menu > Scheduling > Calendar > Select class > Add booking > Select user type (member) > Select member > Book

*Note: As a best practice, members should be encouraged to book and cancel their own sessions through the Octiv app wherever possible. This helps members become familiar with the booking process and manage their own schedules and available credits.*
Staff users can manually book members into classes and sessions when required.
Unlike members, staff users can book a member into a class or session even if the booking threshold has closed. Staff can also book members who have no available session credits remaining.
When a member is manually booked into a class with no available credits, their session balance can be reduced into a negative value. This override is only available to staff users and cannot be performed by members themselves.
For example, if a member has 0 sessions remaining, a staff user can still create the booking and the member's available session balance will reflect a negative value.
Members cannot book themselves into classes or sessions once their available credits have been exhausted, nor can they make bookings after the booking threshold has closed.
