Adding Personal Training Sessions

Create and schedule private or personal training sessions for your facility

Going forward, what was previously the “Personal Training Diary” will now be referred to as “Sessions”.

Use the Sessions option on the calendar to schedule private or personal training sessions.

Left hand menu > Scheduling > Calendar > Create new > Select session > Fill in session details > Submit

Adding a session (PT)

Sections explained:


1. General details:

  • Class: The class option is selected when group classes are created
  • Session: The session option is selected when you would like to add any private or personal training sessions (The only difference between the two options is that class and session is separated on the calendar view). 
  • Session name: Give your session a title e.g. 1-on-1, Group PT, John Doe, Lifting Skill etc. 
  • Location: If you have more than one premises added to your platform, select which location you would like to create a class or session for. 
  • Trainer: Select the trainer that will be taking the session.
  • Supporting trainer: Add an additional trainer if relevant.
  • Should the trainer's name be displayed: Choose to hide or display the trainer's name. 
  • Is this session free: If “yes” is selected, the system will not deduct a credit from the members packages when the member books into the session. If “no” is selected, a credit will be deducted from the member’s package. 

2. Scheduling:
  • Once-off: This is a single session to only appear once in the calendar. This option is commonly used when there is a public holiday or for a specific event. This session will not appear again in the calendar.
  • A recurring session: This is a series of repeating sessions that will appear in the calendar until the session is removed. 
3. Bookings:
    • Is this session visible for bookings: Hide or show which members have booked into the sessions. This only applies to the members app.  
    • Session capacity: Limit how many members can attend the session. 
    • Booking threshold: Add an option that defines how many days/hours, before the session starts, that the session can be booked. Once the booking threshold is closed the member can no longer book into the session.
    • Cancellation threshold: Add an option that defines how many days/hours, before the session starts, that the session can be cancelled. Should the member cancel their session after the cancellation threshold is closed, the member will forfeit their credit for the late cancellation. 
  • Meeting URL: Add the url for members to access the on-line session or consultation. 
  • Package selection: Control which membership options are or aren’t allowed to attend the session by selecting the applicable options.

 

What is the difference between a class and a session?


Class: The class option is selected when group classes are created.

Session: The session option is selected when you would like to add any private or personal training sessions.

 

(The only difference between the two options is that class and session is separated on the calendar view and for the trainer rates and reports.)
