# What are Octiv's billing costs and how is the user count calculated?
## Understanding your Octiv subscription fees and how members are counted
**How Octiv Charges Facilities**
Octiv bills facilities based on a subscription fee that is typically tied to the number of active users (members) on the platform. Your specific pricing plan is agreed at sign-up.
**What Counts as a User?**
The user count is based on the highest number of users during the last 30 days. Users include:
- Members: active, on hold, or suspended
- Staff: active
This means that even if some members are currently on hold or suspended, they are still counted in this total.

**Account Suspended Due to Unpaid Octiv Invoice**
If your account is suspended, pay the outstanding invoice and contact accounts@octivfitness.com with proof of payment. Reactivation typically happens within a few hours of payment confirmation.
