# Using the noticeboard
## Post a notice with a title, banner image, links and a call to action button in the members' app
The noticeboard shows an announcement to your members in the Octiv members' app, on the **Schedule** page. Only one notice can be shown at a time, and it stays visible until you set its status to **Inactive**.
## Creating a notice
**Comms \> Noticeboard**
1. Set **Status** to **Active**.
2. Enter a **Title**. This is shown as the notice heading in the members' app (maximum 60 characters).
3. Write your message in **Notice**. Use the toolbar to make text **bold** or *italic*, or to add a hyperlink: highlight the text and click the link icon.
4. Optional: under **Banner image**, click **Upload banner image**. Use a JPG or PNG, 800 × 300 recommended, maximum 2 MB. Click **REMOVE** to take the image off.
5. Optional: switch on **Call to action button** to add a tappable button to the bottom of the notice. Enter a **Button label** (for example, "Book Now" or "Check this out") and a **Link**.
6. Check the **Members' app preview**, then click **SUBMIT**.
*Note: Hyperlinks in the notice and the call to action button link both open in the member's device browser, outside the Octiv app.*
## Removing a notice
**Comms \> Noticeboard**
1. Set **Status** to **Inactive**.
2. Click **SUBMIT**.
The notice is removed from the members' app.
