# How do I undo a voided invoice?
## Restore a voided invoice to Unpaid, with its number and line items unchanged
If an invoice was voided by mistake, you can bring it back to **Unpaid** with a R0.00 payment that you then delete. No money moves, and the invoice keeps its number and line items.
1. Go to **Accounts \>\> Invoices** and find the voided invoice. Its **⋮ (Actions)** menu only offers **View**, so click **View** to open it.
2. Under **Payments**, click **Record Payment**. The amount is filled in for you: change **Amount** to **0.00**. You can add a reference such as "Undo void" if you like. Click **Submit**.
3. The invoice status changes from **Voided** to **Unpaid**, with the full amount outstanding.
4. On the R0.00 payment line, click **Delete**, then click **OK** to confirm.
The invoice is now **Unpaid** again, with its original line items and the full amount outstanding. There's no payment or credit note left behind, and the R0.00 payment doesn't appear under **Accounts \>\> Payments**.
You can now record the real payment, send the invoice, or let the member pay it as usual.
