How do I transfer facility ownership?

Facility ownership changes are handled by Octiv Support — tell us what's changing with your Octiv account and send proof for anything financial.

When a facility changes hands, any changes to your Octiv account are handled by Octiv Support. Email support@octivfitness.com to get started.

Octiv only manages the relationship between Octiv and your facility — billing, contact details, payment gateway and business documents. Anything inside your Octiv account (members, packages, data) stays as it is and remains yours to manage.

What we need depends on what's changing

  • If only the contact person changes (for example, we should address a new manager from now on): just let us know. Usually nothing else is needed — we can arrange training if the new owner wants it.
  • If any account details change, send us the new details and proof for anything financial so we can verify the information is accurate. This includes:
    • Banking or billing details, or the payment gateway details held in Octiv
    • Contact information — cell number and email addresses
    • Business documents
  • If the card that pays your Octiv subscription changes, we'll remove the old card so the new owner can add theirs (see How do I update the card my facility uses to pay Octiv?).
