How do I take a sale at the Point of Sale (POS)?

Ring up an in-person sale to a member or a walk-in

Store > Point of Sale

The POS shows your products as cards, each with its stock and price. Filter by Location or Product Category, or search by name.

1. Add products to the cart

Click the cart icon on a product to add it. The cart count updates; click View Cart to open it. In the cart you can adjust each product’s quantity with the – / + buttons.

2. Choose the customer

Under Customer, answer “Is the customer a member of yours?”:

  • Yes — select the member from the Member dropdown.
  • No — enter the customer’s Full Name, Email Address and Mobile Number.
  • The customer has paid — choose Cash, Card or EFT.
  • The customer has not paid — choose Generate an invoice to bill them instead.

Add a Note if you’d like a record against the sale.

3. Take payment

Under Payment, add a Discount Amount if applicable — the Total updates. Then either:

Complete the sale. For Limited Stock products the stock reduces automatically, and the sale appears under Store > Sales.
