How do I set up a split package for class-type restrictions?

Workaround for limiting sessions to specific class types

Overview Octiv does not currently have a native feature to limit certain package sessions to specific class types (e.g. 3 general sessions + 1 Saturday-only sessions). This can be achieved using two linked packages as a workaround. Example: 4-Credit Package with 1 Saturday-Only Credit 1. Create the main package (e.g. 'Elite') with 3 sessions at the normal price. 2. Create a second 'Saturday Only' package with 1 session at £0 / R0. 3. On the Saturday-Only package: turn OFF 'Display on App' and 'Allow purchase through App'. 4. On the Saturday-Only package: go to Manage Classes and select ONLY the Saturday class(es). You can select the package to be “free” and include the price in the “Elite” package. This will avoid extra invoice management. 5. When a member purchases the Elite package, manually assign the Saturday-Only package to their profile. 6. Add a note in the Elite package description instructing members to contact the facility after purchase. Settings >> Packages >> [Package] >> Actions >> Manage Classes ⚠ This is a manual workaround. The Saturday-Only package must be added manually each time a member buys the Elite package. Consider adding this to your onboarding checklist.
