# How do I send out my invoices?
## Send invoices when you create them, one at a time, or in bulk, and check which have been sent.
You can send cash invoices manually, one at a time or in bulk, or have Octiv send them automatically. See [How do I automate my invoice generation?](https://knowledge.octivfitness.com/how-do-i-automate-my-invoice-generation?hsLang=en)
Debit order invoices aren't sent automatically, because members have already signed a mandate agreeing to be billed each month. You can still send them yourself using the steps below.
### Send an invoice when you create it
When you create an invoice with **Accounts \>\> Invoices \>\> Create New**, choose **Yes** under **Send invoice on submission?** and it's emailed to the member when you click **Submit**. See [How do I create an invoice?](https://knowledge.octivfitness.com/creating-invoice?hsLang=en)
### Send one invoice
1. Go to **Accounts \>\> Invoices** and find the invoice.
2. Click the **⋮** (Actions) menu and choose **Send**.
### Send invoices in bulk
Use this if your cash invoices are set to Generate Only, or to send debit order invoices.
1. Go to **Accounts \>\> Invoices**.
2. Choose the correct **Location** and set **Date From** and **Date To** for the month you're sending. Invoices are listed by due date, so you may need to change the dates to see next month's invoices.
3. To narrow the list, use the other filters, for example **Payment Type**, or set **Sent/Unsent** to Unsent.
4. Tick the invoices you want to send. To select every invoice on the page, tick the box in the header.
5. Under **Bulk Actions**, click **Send Invoice**.
### How do I know if an invoice has been sent?
On **Accounts \>\> Invoices**, check the **Sent Date** column. If there's a date, the invoice was emailed on that day. If it's blank, it hasn't been sent. You can also set the **Sent/Unsent** filter to see only sent or only unsent invoices.
