How do I configure the sign-up widget for my website?

Membership Widget vs Sign-Up Widget

• Membership Widget: displays existing memberships for existing members. Does not allow new purchases. For existing members only.
• Sign-Up Widget: allows new members to browse packages and complete sign-up. This is what you need on your public-facing website.

Getting the Sign-Up Widget Embed Code
Settings >> Widgets >> Sign-Up Widget >> Copy embed code

If you cannot find the Sign-Up Widget code, contact Octiv Support who can provide the correct embed code for your facility.

Embedding on Your Website
1. Copy the embed code from Octiv.

1. Paste it into the HTML of your website page where you want the widget to appear.
2. Test by going through the sign-up flow as a new member.

⚠ If you have the wrong widget embedded, members may be able to view memberships but not purchase them. This is the most common widget configuration error — always verify you are using the Sign-Up Widget for new member acquisition.

Hiding Packages From the Widget
To prevent a package from appearing on the public sign-up widget:

Settings >> Packages >> [Package] >> Display Settings >> Display on Widget = Off

Adding a Company logo can be done in a few places:

• Adding it to your platform and the members app — Settings >> Facility — both light and dark mode logo's can be added
• Adding it to your emails sent from Octiv — Settings >> Comms — Location Details
• Adding it to your Explore location & your invoicing — Settings >> Accounts >> Location Settings — Location Invoice Details
