# How do I add my VAT and company details to invoices?

## Set the VAT number, VAT percentage, registration number and extra details that show on each location's invoices

Each location has its own invoice details, which appear on the invoices Octiv creates for that location.

1. Go to **Settings \>\> Accounts** and open the **Location Settings** tab. Choose the location if you have more than one.
2. Under **Location Invoice Details**, fill in what you need: 
     - **VAT Number**: your VAT registration number.
     - **VAT Percentage**: your default VAT rate. Each invoice line item uses this rate, and you can change it on individual line items. See [How do I create an invoice?](https://knowledge.octivfitness.com/creating-invoice?hsLang=en)
     - **Business Registration Number**: your company registration number.
     - **Additional information**: any other details you want on your invoices.
     - **Show the opening outstanding balance on invoices**: tick this to show the member's outstanding balance from before the invoice.
3. Click **Update**.
